The Nargis Dutt Award is a national film award. To commemorate the films which have thoughtfully dealt the theme, national integration this award is given to a film production after the attentive moderation of the jury of the National Film Awards. The Hindi film Shaheed, by S. Ram Sharma won this award for the first time in the year 1966.
