Survin Chawala, born in Dehradun and brought up at Chandigarh`s Business joint family. After completing her graduation in Mass Communication, came to Mumbai to live with her uncle and aunty. Initially her family was reluctant for acting. They were shocked by listening her selection in Balaji production for `kahin to hoga`, with in four days of her arrival at Mumbai.

Survin wants to be docter, but after schooling, she had opted commerce and graduated in Arts.

As `Charu`, Survin chawala had picked lots of appreciation from audience. Till now in her both the characters of `Charu` (kahin to hoga) and `Kasak` (Kasauti zindagi kay), she had given a royal end with death. Survin is happy with the roles, because didn`t have to live again in her characters like in other `K` serials.

Now her running role as `Kajal`, live up to the mark in acting. Surveen Chawla`s coming serial is `Kis ristey se`, where she is playing a cancer patient`s role.
