Rajiv Khandelwal with Just one serial lives in the heart of millions. He is from Rajasthan, done his BSc in Ahmedabad. He is from Army Back ground. So putting a lot of interest for defence.

Rajiv Khandelwal never thought of becoming an actor, Very few know that, in reality he was a documentary filmmaker. Who had done several documentary dramas on Indian Army, Women`s labour etc.

Rajiv started his career in Television as Production assistant. Till now he had written and directed thirty documentaries, which were aired on Doordarshan.

There is a small story of Rajiv, becoming an actor. Once he had shot a pilot for a show based on army backdrop, that was not approved, for which his lots of money and time was simply lost. And for recovering money, he had done commercials and signed up with Balaji for the serial, `Kahin to hoga` with a friend`s suggestion. He had done cameo in `Kya haadsa kya haqeeqat`. Also had a special appearance in C.I.D, Sony Entertainment. For a Millions fell in love with him, when he played Sujal in `Kahin to hoga` and people fall, in love again as he played captain Rajveer sekhawat in `Left Right Left`. But his answer is," it is better to leave at the pick time, I am not interested to be greedy and sticking on, when it is time to move".

Rajiv promised he will be back soon with new excitements. He is also planning for Silver screen next year. He is sponsoring a baby girl named Swati. But doesn`t want to reveal anything, because Rajiv doesn`t want media hype of his social works.
