People relate him more with Anurag Basu rather than his real name.Cezanne Khan comes from an artistic family. His father, Ustad Rais khan is a famous satirist, his mother is a Interior designer and his brother Suhail Khan is a singer, composer and sitar musician.

This charming personality`s study has been completed at boarding school of Barnes at Deolali and Bachelors in Communication from MMK college of Bandra, Mumbai. He was supposed to join NIIMS for MBA. But when he was offered a film (which was never released), he took little time to choose between his profession and his real interest. He didn`t feel that much of difficulty during acting, because in his college days he has done several theatre plays and modelling.

In June 2007 he entered in Sony channel`s "Ek ladki anjani si" and also hosted "The good health show" for some time. He acted in two Pakistani serials, `Piya ke ghar jana hai" and "Silsilay chahat kay".

2003 is the best year of his acting career, where he received two awards as `Most popular TV actor` and `Best Personality of the year` from Indian Telly Award. Also received `Best Jodi of the year` with Prerna for "Kasauti Zindagi Kay" in Star Parivar Award.

Now Cezzane khan is not working with "Kasauti Zindagi kay", due to end of his contract in 2007, but he agrees that it is his responsibility to give his role a definite conclusion.
