Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)

BMS stands for Bachelor of Management Studies. Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) is a 3-year full time degree program introduced by a number of institutes. University of Mumbai has introduced the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) from the academic year 1999-2000. The BMS program is spread over 3 years consisting of 6 semesters, leading to a Bachelor Degree of Management Studies.

Further studies after Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS):
After completion of three years, an individual can opt for the following courses:

  • Management oriented courses like MMS and MBA
  • Non-management oriented courses like Mass Communication, CA etc…

    Eligibility for the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS):
    A student who has passed out their HSC examinations from any of the three streams i.e. Arts, Commerce or Science can do Bachelor in Management Tests.

    Entrance Tests for Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS):
    After passing HSC with 45% of marks, the student aspiring to do BMS has to pass an Entrance Test known as `Centralized Common Entrance Examination` or CCEE. The CCEE is a prerequisite for admission into the BMS Program of the University of Mumbai.

    The CCEE is of 75 minutes duration and consist of 100 questions in the area of Math, English, Logical Reasoning and Visual Reasoning.
