The Pariyaram Dental College (PDC) is a well known and renowned medical institution in the state of Kerala. The college was established and is being run and managed by the Academy of Medical Sciences, Pariyaram. Located in the district of Kannur, the college started its journey in the year 2004 after it received the Letter of Permission from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of Government of India on 16th September, 2004. The college got the permission according to the recommendation of Dental Council of India (DCI).

The Pariyaram Dental College (PDC) is the first Dental College in the district of Kannur and it mainly offers the undergraduate course of Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) to the students of Kerala. This is a 4 1/2 year Course and it is affiliated to the Kannur University. All the courses offered by the college are approved by competent authority. The Dental College has all the necessary modern Dental treatment facilities like OPG X-Ray, Modern Dental equipments, specialty clinics in Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Oral Medicine, Conservative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Pedodontics and Periodontics.

The Pariyaram Dental College (PDC), Kannur is working with the objective of offering several courses in various areas of medical science. The college is affiliated to the Kannur University, and is also approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI), a Statutory Body to regulate the Dental Education and the profession of Dentistry throughout India. The college admits students in its BDS course according to the directions and regulations of the State Government of Kerala and Kannur University. The students are required to fulfill certain criterions to get admission in BDS course. Many departments are helping the college management to provide quality dental education to the students of Kerala.
