Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy, Bangaluru, KarnatakaThe Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy (KCP) is a famous and popular medical institution in the state of Karnataka and the college is situated in the city of Bangaluru. The college was established and being run and managed by the Krupanidhi Education Trust (KET) and it is recognised by the State Government of Karnataka. The college is also approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and AICTE, New Delhi and is currently affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangaluru.

The Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy (KCP), Bangaluru is operating with a view to achieve certain aims and objectives. The college is aimed at making a prime contribution to the society towards moulding professionals for the future. The college`s mission is based on the philosophy that an educated individual is the key to the development of society in particular and diverse enterprise in general. The college is equipped with a large number of 26 hi-tech laboratories that have all the necessary modern infrastructure and latest equipments.

The students of Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy (KCP), Bangaluru are taught the chemistry of drugs, their origin, procedures for drug development, their preparation, dispensing, their effects and also their eventual use for prevention and treatment of disease. The college conducts some special training programs for teaching the students about the art and science of preparing and dispensing medication. The students are taught the complexity of drug therapy, the dangers of drug abuse and the provision of drug and health information to the public and also the need of pharmacist special skills to maintain a rational approach, in the realm of drug treatments.

The Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy (KCP), Bangaluru offers several courses in various fields of Pharmacy at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The courses offered by the college include Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Master Degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) and PhD in Pharmacy. The college admits a total of 120 students in the D.Pharm course, every year. For getting admitted in the D.Pharm course in KCP, Bangaluru, the candidates are required to have passed the PUC / 10 + 2 / PDC / Intermediate/ Higher Sec. exam in Science, or PDU in vocational course with Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics. The students are also required to be aged at least 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.

There are a total of 60 students get admitted in the B.Pharm course in Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy (KCP), Bangaluru. In order to get admission in B.Pharm course in the KCP, Bangaluru, the candidates are required to have passed the 10 + 2 / PUC / PDC / Higher Sec. / Intermediate in Science (Regular stream). The students are required to obtain at least 50% marks in the combination of Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics. However, the required percentage of marks comes down to 40% in case of SC / ST candidates. The students are also required to complete 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

The students desirous of getting admitted in M.Pharm course in the Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy (KCP), Bangaluru, are required to have passed the B.Pharm examination with 55% in aggregate (of 4 years). For the students belonging to SC/ST and the candidates, who have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, the required percentage comes down to 50%. The students can pursue the M.Pharm course in Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Pharmacology. The candidates, who possess the M.Pharm degree, are considered as eligible for getting admitted in the PhD course in KCP, Bangaluru.
