Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy, Bangaluru is a premiere medical institution in Karnataka, providing pharmacy education.

The Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy (AACP) is one of the most prominent and leading institutions in the field of Pharmacy in Karnataka. The college is situated in the city of Bangaluru and is being run and managed by the Al-Ameen Educational Society. The college came into existence in the year 1982 and it is aimed at providing quality pharmaceutical education to the students of the state. The college is well equipped with all the necessary latest laboratory facilities and it provides the students with the other important facilities, as well.

Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy, Bangaluru, Karnataka The Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy (AACP), Bangaluru mainly offers four courses ranging from the undergraduate level to the postgraduate level. The courses are Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) and Doctor in Philosophy (PhD). The college started offering the courses in the years of 1982, 1985, 1992, 1996 respectively. The AACP, Bangaluru admits a total of 60 students in D.Pharm and B.Pharm course and its annual intake in the M.Pharm course is 52 students. The institute has been providing quality education with the help of a highly qualified and experienced teaching staff.

The Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy (AACP), Bangaluru follows certain rules and regulation for admitting the students in different courses and the candidates have to fulfill some criterions before admission. For getting admitted in the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) course, the candidates are required to pass the Intermediate examination in Science, the first year of the three year degree course in Science, the 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science, or the Pre-degree examination or PUC (Pre- University Course), with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology. The candidates, who have passed the PCM/PCB/PCMB or any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) as equivalent to any of the above examinations, are also considered as eligible for admission.

In case of admission in Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) in the Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy (AACP), Bangaluru, the candidates are required to have passed the 2 year P.U.C. Examination of Karnataka. P.U.C. Board or an equivalent examination of any other approved Board or university. They are required to pass the examination with at least 50% marks in any combination comprising Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology. However, the required percentage of marks comes down to 40% for the students belonging to SC/ST, group-A categories. The students, who have passed the final D.Pharm examination conducted by an authority approved by the Pharmacy council of India (PCI), are also considered eligible for admission.

The candidates desirous to get admitted in Master in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) course in the Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy (AACP), Bangaluru, are required to have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying examination, with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology. The candidates, who belong to SC/ST category, are required to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination. The candidates, who have 5 years of teaching experience, are required to have an aggregate of 50% marks. Apart from the D.Pharm, B.Pharm and M.Pharm courses, the Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy (AACP), Bangaluru also offers the Doctor in Philosophy (PhD). The PhD course is offered in the disciplines like Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Marketing & Management, Pharmacognosy, Quality Assurance, and Pharmacy Practice. The college also has a large number of important departments that help it in providing education to the students. Some of the major departments include the department of Pharmaceutical Marketing & Management, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacy Practice, Quality Assurance and the department of Consultant R & D.
