Kundalini Shakti, Kundalini Meditation
Kundalini Shakti is the self-identification of the body of an individual undergoing Kundalini meditation.

Kundalini Shakti is an integral part of Kundalini meditation. It is necessary to invoke Kundalini Shakti that brings power and energy in an individual. The essence of Tantra is purification of the Five Elements that is compulsory to awaken the Kundalini Shakti. This Shakti is considered to be the personal Shakti of a human being. Any spiritual practice in any religion is basically some process of awakening Kundalini, and Kundalini can only be awakened through the elements of one`s body after purification.

Kundalini Shakti, Kundalini Meditation According to the Kundalini meditation, this internal Shakti of a human body signifies the ego. Kundalini Shakti is therefore the ability to self-identify; to treat something as part of oneself that is the ego. As long as the Kundalini Shakti self-identifies with the body, the ego remains asleep. Once the ego awakens, it searches for partner Shiva, that element of the universal consciousness without which an individual can never exist. After the blend of these two shaktis, the Kundalini Shakti attains its actual power.

The Rishis have the full power of the Kundalini Shakti at their disposal. The speed of Kundalini Shakti is immeasurable. Kundalini Shakti is the highest possible expression of an individual`s will power. After recognising a purified will power, any individual can direct his aim at a single object; this is the time when Kundalini Shakti is operating in the person at its extreme. Kundalini Shakti has tremendous force behind it, and it is very difficult to grip such power.

Kundalini Shakti loses all concept of individuality and all contact with the body after disintegrating. In an ordinary individual the ego resides at the lower end of the spinal cord because gravity has full power over the ego. If anyone wants to liberate the ego from restrictions the individual must create a force within his body to counteract the force of gravity; this can only be done by strenuous penance. The purpose of all spiritual practices in every religion is to separate the ego from Kundalini Shakti with the limited personality so that the ego may reunite with its persistent personality.

Kundalini Yoga is one of the most beneficial ways to discover Kundalini Shakti and this will come as a sudden pang of being. The ego has such a strong grip on the body that it is very difficult to overcome and indiscriminate awakening of the Kundalini is very dangerous. Experiencing the Kundalini Shakti requires a strong nervous system endure the immense power. Kundalini Shakti is alike the lightning creeper that can incinerate only strong human beings. While Kundalini sleeps in the Muladhara Chakra at the base of the spine, a person is awake to the world and asleep to reality.

The Gunas control minds, the Elements shape the bodies and the world; and the Tastes control the internal chemistry, which links a person`s mind and bodies together. Together with the ten senses, there are twenty-four limitations, which distort the human consciousness. The Kundalini is covered by the above said components, namely the Gunas, elements and so on. Experiencing the Kundalini Shakti is therefore a difficult task with ordinary senses and Gunas. One has to overpower his spirit with eternal will and confidence to attain this Shakti successfully.
