Vijayanagar sculptures are widely visible in the temples, monuments and palaces that were built during the
Vijayanagar Empire. Some of the temples from this dynasty are considered perfect examples of Hindu temple architecture. The idiom followed by the Vijayanagar kings was an assimilated one. This style combined the
Chalukya,
Chola,
Pandya and
Hoysala architectural modes.

In fact this is quite evident from the
features of Vijayanagar sculptures. Although the architecture and
sculpture of Hazari Ram Temple is considered almost perfect, there are certainly other temples that mirror the artistic brilliance of the age. One such fine example is apparent from the architectural plan and
sculpture of Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple (Srirangam).
Besides the temples the wonder of Vijayanagar sculptures are embedded in
Hampi. The rock sculptures here are truly spellbinding. Monolithic rocks have been cut to give shape to several structures.
The other Vijayanagar sculptures comprise the following:
| Sculpture of Chennakesava Temple, Belur |
Sculpture of Kalahasti Temple |
Sculpture of Hazari Ram Temple |
Sculpture of Stone Chariots |
| Sculptures of Temples at Srisailam |
