Sutala, Division Of Patala
Sutala is one of the seven divisions of Patala.

The Puranas state that Sutala is one of the seven divisions of Patala. This place has a stony soil, but embellished with magnificent palaces. Sutala is a Patala of retaliatory jealousy.

The other Patalas are atala (fear and lust), vitala (raging anger), talatala (prolonged mental confusion), rasatala (selfishness), mahatala (absence of conscience) and patala (murder and malice).
