Savitri, Aditya, The Sun
Savitri is one of the twelve Adityas, the sun.

In the Hindu mythology, Savitri or the Sun is mentioned as one of the twelve Adityas. Adityas are considered to be a group of Gods. It is considered that Savitri had established the earth by supports and Savitri has fixed the sky in unsupported space. Savitri has milked the atmosphere and helped the ocean to fasten on the impassable expanse.
