Rajpal Yadav is an Indian actor, brilliant with his comic timings and witty remarks. He hails from the classic Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh and has acquired a good fan base in India with the passing years. He played the leading role and wrote the screenplay for the film Main, Mere Patni Aur Woh in 2005. This film got him positive reviews and a higher status than just a comedian. He also got critical acclaim for his comic roles in movies including Hungama, Malamaal Weekly, Waqt: The Race Against Time and Chup Chup Ke.
Rajpal Yadav was born in a small village called Kudra in Uttar Pradesh. As a child he had a passion for Nautanki, a traditional form of folk drama. In Shahjahanpur, he completed the degree of Bachelor of Arts (BA) and got admission in Lucknow`s Bhartendu Natya Academy (B.N.A). He stayed in Lucknow from 1992-94. He then took admission in Delhi`s National School of Drama and completed his graduation in 1997.
Rajpal Yadav went to Mumbai; here Anurag Kashyap introduced him to
Ram Gopal Varma. Varma became impressed by his screening and gave him a small role in the film Shool. In the movie Jungle he played the character of a villain and it won him two awards. He had a hit with the film Main Madhuri Dixit Bana Chahti hoon and made guest appearances in Kal Ho Na Ho and Love in Nepal. Rajpal Yadav regularly does lot of Theatre and Stage Shows worldwide. The 2008 tour of Australia and Fiji was a huge success in the life of Rajpal Yadav.
