Kuru, Son Of Agnidhra
Kuru is one of the sons of Agnidhra.

Kuru is one of the nine sons of Agnidhra. His father gave him the north of the Sweta Mountains, bounded by the Srinagavan range.

Purvachitti is the mother of Kuru. Kuru had eight other brothers, they were named Nabhi, Kimpurusha, Harivarsha, Ilavrita, Ramyaka, Hiranmaya, Bhadrashva and Ketumala. Due to drinking the breast-milk of their mother, these boys became very strong, and when they grew up, each was given a portion of Jambudwipa to rule.
