An award-winning Indian screenwriter, Honey Irani is the former wife of Javed Akhtar and mother of director Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar. She is the sister of famous child artist of the 50`s and 60`s Daisy Irani and the aunt of Farah Khan. Irani was born in a Zoroastrian family and began her Bollywood career as a child actress with roles in films like Chirag Kahaan Roshni Kahaan and Bombay Ka Chor. She has acted in more than 72 films and after retiring she became a successful scriptwriter.
