Indian movie actress Dimple Kapadia previously Dimple Shah was born on 8th June 1957. She was very popular because of her glamorous look, her appeal and also for her challenging role. She has some versatility in her. Till now she sometimes looks younger than even her daughters. She was born in a Gujarati-speaking family and was a daughter to businessman, Chunnibhai and Betty, Dimple has a younger sister, Simple, who was born on 15 August 1958. She started her career with the `showman` of Bollywood Raj Kapoor in his film `Bobby` with legendary actor Rishi Kapoor. After this film the stars became famous overnight. The actress was just at the age of nineteen years at that time. In the year 1974 the actress married Jatin, popularly known as Rajesh Khanna, 15 years older than her. She quit films and re-located to live with her husband in their Juhu Bungalow. The star couple has two daughters Twinkle and Rinki. After Bobby she left the film industry and again resumes it after her divorce with Rajesh Khanna in 1985 in the film `Saagar`.

That was an off-beat film where she acted brilliantly. Naseeruddin Shah was opposite to her. The aging Dimple has opted for mature roles of late.
