Rodha is one of the Narakas or Hell. This is the place where the spirit is judged, or partial fruits of karma are affected in the next life. It is believed that people who commit sins go to Hell and have to go through punishments in accordance with the sins they committed. In the Rodha the spirits are punished for misdeed like causing abortion, killing a cow and plundering.
