The Maharashtra and Baroda teams appeared in the next match of the zone and the match was held at Pune from 01-03 December, 1989. The match could not yield any specific result for the teams and the match officials awarded the Baroda and Maharashtra teams 11 and 9 points, respectively for the drawn match.

The match between the teams of Baroda and Bombay was the seventh of the West Zone league matches in the Ranji Trophy, 1989-90 and the organisers organised the match at Baroda from 09-11 December, 1989. The match remained drawn during the stipulated duration and the Bombay and Baroda teams earned 12 and 6 points, respectively from the match. The next match of the zone involved the teams like Gujarat and Maharashtra and the two teams played the match at Bulsar from 09-11 December, 1989. The match also remained drawn during the specified period of time and the Gujarat and Maharashtra teams earned 16 and 11 points from the match. The Maharashtra team appeared in the next match of the zone also and this time, it played against the Bombay team at Bombay from 15-17 December, 1989. The Bombay and Maharashtra teams earned 11 and 10 points respectively from the match as it remained drawn during the stipulated duration. The last of the West Zone league matches in the Ranji Trophy, 1989-90 involved the teams like Saurashtra and Gujarat and the two teams played the match at Rajkot from 15-17 December, 1989.
