Ram Swarup Sharma is a popular Raslila performer. Reckoned as an eminent Hindi folk theatre personality, Ram Swarup has restructured the contour of Raslila. He is the son of the famous Rasdhari and composer Swami Meghashyam. Himself an accomplished singer and instrumentalist, he runs a widely travelled Raslila troupe known for its folk songs and tunes. Ram Swarup Sharma particularly staged his father`s rasiya and bhajan compositions. Ram Swarup Sharma has a large and varied repertoire of Lilas, including those on Gauranga, Vallabhacharya, and Swami Haridas.
