Dyutimat is one of the ten sons of Priyavrata. The three brothers of Dyutimat adopted a religious life. Priyavrata having divided the earth into seven continents gave them respectively to his other seven sons. Dyutimat was king of Krauncha Dwipa, where the inhabitants resided without apprehension, associating with the bands of divinities.
