Puravas, Descendants Of Puru
Puravas was a progeny of Puru dynasty.

Puravas was a progeny of Puru dynasty. The Puru is a tribe, or a confederation of tribes, mentioned many times in the Rig veda. They were located at the banks of the Sarasvati River. There were several factions of Purus, one being the Bharatas.
