Paulomi was the goddess of wrath and jealousy, as per the Puranas.

According to the Puranas, Paulomi was the goddess of rage and envy. She was a daughter of Puloman, a demon who was killed by Indra.

Paulomi was one of the seven Matrikas or the mother goddesses. She is described as beautiful and having one thousand eyes. Paulomi is often associated with lions and elephants. With Indra, she is the mother of Jayanta, Midhusa, Nilambara, Rbhus, Rsabha and Sitragupta.
