
Shreyas Talpade was born on 27 January 1976 in
Mumbai in a Marathi family. He studied at the Shree Ram Welfare Society`s High School. He married Deepti who is a clinical psychologist and counsellor. He saw her during his visit to her college.
Shreyas Talpade`s Film Career
Shreyas started his career with Marathi theatre and Marathi serials. One of his most popular serials is Damini in which he enacted the role of Tejas. Overnight he became a household name. Besides these he has also done English plays like All The Best and A Funny Thing Called Love. His also appeared in the Zee TV serial Woh in 1997 and was a part of another serial, Adhikari Brothers. Shreyas Talpade got his first big break in the
Nagesh Kukunoor`s Iqbal (2005). With this film he stepped silently in the arena of Indian cinema. In this Bollywood flick Shreyas Talpade played the role of a deaf and dumb boy who is passionate about cricket and dreams of playing for his country one day. The film was a big crowd puller. Shreyas Talpade shared the screen space with acting giants like
Naseeruddin Shah and
Girish Raghunath Karnad. He left an indelible mark on the minds of the audiences with his superb performance. He even impressed the audiences and the critics with his performance in Dor as a Behroopiya. In the year 2007 he appeared in Shah Rukh Khan starrer,
Om Shanti Om. He played an important part in the film. The talented actor has acted in many notable movies like Apna Sapna Money Money, Bombay To Bangkok, Welcome to Sajjanpur, Click, Help, Golmaal Returns and Golmaal 3.
