It was a battle between the teams of Delhi and Services in the eighth of the North Zone league matches in the Ranji Trophy, 1961-62. The match took place at Delhi from 22-24 November, 1961 and the match was drawn during its stipulated duration. The Delhi team earned 5 points and Services earned 4 points from the match.
