The seventh of the South Zone league matches in the Ranji Trophy, 1960-61 saw a clash between the teams of Mysore and Andhra at Bangalore from 17-19 December, 1960. The match was drawn during its specified duration and the match officials awarded the Mysore and Andhra teams 6 and 3 points, respectively for the match. The Andhra team played against the Kerala team at Guntur from 24-26 December, 1960, where the Kerala team got a big victory of an innings and 5 runs, to earn 9 points from the match.
