Kollidam, Indian Dam

Kollidam, Indian DamThe Kollidam is also known as Kolidam and sometimes Coleroon in English. It is a river in southeastern India. The Kollidam is the northern distributary of the Kaveri River. The river flows through the Delta of Thanjavur. Later it gets separated from the main branch of the Kaveri River at the island of Srirangam and thus flows eastward near the Ayangudi, Muttam and finally flow into the Bay of Bengal.
