Damaghosha is the king of Chedi and the father of Sisupala.

Damaghosha is the king of Chedi and the father of Sisupala. Damaghosha is said to be the demon-reincarnation of Ravana who was killed by the avatara Krishna.

Damaghosha had also engaged Brahmans expert in chanting mantras to perform all rituals necessary to assure his son`s prosperity.

King Damaghosha travelled to Kundina accompanied by armies of elephants exuding mada, chariots hung with golden chains, and numerous cavalry and infantry soldiers.
