The academic year of this college starts at the same time with several other colleges in the city of Mumbai in the month of June as soon as the results of S.S.C. are declared and the procedures for admission are over. The Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics is reputed for its strict rules and regulation as far as the attendance of the students are concerned and a number of other criteria for passing.
