Mithibai College of Arts, Science and Commerce in Mumbai was founded by the Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal group at the time of its Silver Jubilee celebrations in the year 1961. As an extension to the Mithibai College, the Amrutben Jivanlal College of Commerce and Economics was added in the year 1980 thus forming the present multi-faculty college of Arts, Commerce and Science. It is exactly located in Vile Parle (West) in the city of Mumbai.
Mithibai College of Arts, Science and Commerce have around 9,600 students. It holds a total of two hundred and fifty seven teaching and one hundred and seventy non-teaching staff. This college in
Mumbai has a group of meritorious students among its alumni. The department of Arts has the Hindi Parisabha, Psychology Association, Gujarati Sahitya Mandal, Marathi Vagmay Mandal, French Association, Quiz, Elocution, English Associaton, Essay and Debate Society.
