KC College was established in 1954 under the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board. KC College was established during the post-partition era of the country. Principal K.M. Kundnani and Barrister Hotchand Advani were the founders of the college. KC College has been able to create a niche for itself in the course of fifty years.

The USP of the KC College :
It is perhaps the only college in Mumbai to have its own radio center and a nuclear chemistry research center. The college also has some unique features such as: an air-conditioned auditorium with nearly 600 seating capacity, a wooden floored indoor badminton court and a community hall. The college hosts the inter-collegiate fest by the name Kiran, while the BMM (Bachelor of Mass Media) department of the college hosts an inter-collegiate fest called `Blitzkrieg`.
