Chutti TV is a 24 hours Television channel in Tamil Language owned by Sun network. It is Channel for the kids of the age between 3-14 years.

Chutti TVChutti TV is a Tamil Language TV channel which functions round the clock. It was launched by Sun TV network on the 29th of April 2007 and it targets Tamil kids all over the world. This TV channel is the first of its kind 24 hours channel from the Sun TV Network which targets children in the age group of 2 to 14, with international and regional flavour. The shows are designed to engage and educate children throughout the day. It has also lined up shows like the `Chutti Yoga` in the morning and then a dance show known as `Rumbumbum`. This is followed by some cartoon serials such as `The Adventures of Jackie Chan`, `Astroboy`, `Stunt Dawgs`, `Godzilla` and `Men in Black`, sourced from leading production houses across the globe. All these international characters are given local resonance and a lot of regional flavour, lest the child is confused with cultural differences.

Chutti TV launches with a holiday viewer ship strategy, which will evolve as per the school holidays, weekends and exams. This approach is similar to the approach applied by other players of the television industry. Additionally, Chutti TV will also air interactive pre-school series that presently airs on Nick India, Dora the Explorer. Other programs include action cartoons Godzilla, Men in Black and Astroboy, a talent hunt Kids Khiladees, comedy show Chutti Looti, on-the-spot challenge shows like Chutti Challenge, phone-in shows for kids like `Hello Chutti` among others.

This Tamil Language channel is a free-to-air TV channel which is available on most of the local cable television networks. Through the DTH platform, Chutti TV channel is available in India on Tata Sky by means of Channel 806. This TV channel can also be viewed on ASTRO in Malaysia by means of Channel 213 and this channel can also be availed in India in Eight Cable, SKYsat and Channel Name Cable via Channel 806. A majority of the shows in this television channel are the translated forms of the animated series of the west. Several famous shows which have been broadcast in this channel are He-man, Jackie Chan Adventures, Men in Black, Bob Moraine, Lucky Luke, Avatar, Spiderman, Godzilla, Bandalero, Danny and Daddy, Astro Boy, Bumba and Dora the Explorer.
