Bhavans College- a part of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, was established in the year 1946 by noted philosopher and statesman Dr. K. M. Munshi. Dr. Vallabhai Patel had inaugurated the college. The then Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru had described the college as `Mini-India`.
USP of the College:
The college campus is spread across a vast 45 acre of land. The college is known for giving great emphasis to sports, which explains the presence of a huge basketball and Volleyball courts. The major attraction of the college is its botanical garden. The college hosts a fest called O2. Bhavans is also known for its nature and amateur radio clubs.
