
Born on 10th August, 1902, the popular saint, Pandit Satlal Siboo engaged his entire life in realizing the self and also in searching for spiritual knowledge. He joined the Jammu and Kashmir fire services in his earlier life and he left the job and took voluntary retirement for fulfilling his search for spiritual knowledge. After leaving the job, he started practicing Sadhana at his second floor room, that is popularly known as `Kam.
A unique way of meditation was practiced by Pandit Satlal, as he meditated upon the Istha-Devi-Sri Ragniya in the form of `Prakrati`. He first meditated over Bhuteshwara in the form of `Purusha` and then he recited the `Bija Mantras`. According to the beliefs of Pandit Satlal Siboo, this form of Sadhana did enlighten his every nerve cell quite well and his Sadhana was also inclusive of worshiping Sri Vantra in the `Kali` and the traditional forms like `Shakta` method was also known to him.
Pandit Satlal Siboo was a master of Shakta, and he also imparted the knowledge of Shakta tradition to his followers, in the later half of his life. He was quite well known about the ancient systems of medicine in India; however, he commonly used his mantra to get rid of diseases, after attaining a higher state of spiritual awakening. He left the earthly abode on 19th October, 1987.
