Anumati is one of the four daughters of Angiras, the first day of the moon`s wane.

Anumati is one of the four daughters of Angiras, the first day of the moon`s wane. As per the Vishnu Purana, the four daughters are the four phases of the moon. Anumati is said to be the goddess of the day when the moon is in the third and fourth quarters.
