Angas, Parts of Vedas
Angas are different parts of Vedas.

Angas are different parts of Vedas. There are total six Angas or subsidiary portions. The six parts include- Siksha, Kalpa, Vyakarana, Nirukta, Chhandas and Jyotish. Siksha are rules for reciting the prayers, the accents and tones to be observed. Kalpa is the ritual, Vyakarana means grammar; Nirukta are glossarial comments, Chhandas are metre and Jyotish means astronomy.
