Udham Singh Nagar is a district of Uttarakhand state in northern India, Rudrapur is the District Headquarters. The district is located in the Terai region and is part of the Kumaon Division. Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology
G.B. University is the first ever agricultural university of India. It was inaugurated by the first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru on the 17th of November, 1960 as the Uttar Pradesh Agricultural University (UPAU). Later the name was changed to Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in 1972 to memorialize the great freedom fighter Govind Ballabh Pant. It is located at a distance of 5km from Rudrapur. This university lies in the town of Pantnagar in the district of Udhaam Singh Nagar in the state of Uttarakhand, India.
Nanak Matta
Nanak Matta is situated at a distance of 56 kms. from the city of Rudrapur en route to Tanakpur. It is believed that Guru Nanak, the Great Saint visited this place. This holy place is of great importance to the Sikh religion and is visited by thousands of Sikh pilgrims every year. This place is also famous for its Nanak Matta Dam built across river Saryu.

Atariya Temple
The renowned shrine of Goddess Atariya is 2kms from the bus stand off Rudrapur-Haldwani route. According to a famous folktale, when King Rudra was passing through his chariot, it got stuck in the marshy land after which he decided to build a temple and well at that spot. The Atariya temple is the same; a ten-day fair is held here during the Navratras. Large number of pilgrims visits this shrine during this occasion.
Chaiti Devi Temple
This temple is located at a distance of 2.5kms from Kashipur bus stand and lies on the Kashipur-Bajpur route. Large fair is held during the sacred Navratras and flocks of devotees visit this shrine during the festival.
Giri Sarovar
This charming lake is about 2kms from Kashipur bus stand located on the Kashipur-Ramnagar route. This is an ideal picnic spot for spending time.

This historical and industrial town is named after Kashinath Adhikari, one of the officers of the Chand rulers of Kumaon, who also founded the present town. This spot until now possesses the relics of the past era.
