Devavarman, Chandella King
Devavarman was the son of Vijayapala and was a powerful administrator.

Vijayapala had two sons. Their names can be mentioned as Devavarman and Kirtivarman. Vijayapala was succeeded by his eldest son Devavarman in 1059 A.D. This incident is indicated by inscriptions of Nanyaur and Charkhari. The inscription of Charkhari further indicates that Kalachuri king Lakshamikarna had established his authority over a large portion of `Devevarman`s kingdom after defeating him.

Devavarman died in 1060 A.D.
