Prasanth is a right-handed batsman of the Kerala cricket team, who is also a right-arm medium pace bowler.

Prasanth Parameswarann has played in "List A" matches and "Twenty20" matches in his cricket career. He debuted in the "List A" matches against Tamil Nadu cricket team, which was held at Secunderabad on February 16 in 2007. That was his only match in that category and he could not open his scorecard in that. While in bowling, Prasanth Parameswarann has picked up two wickets by losing 53 runs out of the 60 balls he played in the "List A" matches. His bowling average is 26.50 and economy is 5.30 in that match. He dismissed Subramaniam Badrinath and Ganapathy mostly in these matches.

He dismissed Aniket Desai, Amol Shinde, Ravichandran Ashwin, Anirudh Srikkanth, Robin Uthappa, Rohit Sabharwal and Yo Mahesh mostly in these matches.
