Sambasiva Sarma, Karnataka CricketerSambasiva Sarma is a left-handed batsman of the Karnataka cricket team. He was born on October 13, 1984 in Kerala. He is also popularly known as `Sambasivam`. He is also a left-arm medium pace bowler of the team. His full name is Krishna Sarma Sambasiva Sarma.

Sambasiva Sarma started playing in the "First-class" cricket against Vidarbha team, which was held at Nagpur from November 3 to 6 in 2007. Till then, he has played in altogether three "First-class" matches in his cricket career with an average of 20.00. He has made his total score of 100 runs, which includes one half-century and nine fours. The highest score made by Sambasiva Sarma in any of the "First-class" matches is 79 runs and his striking rate is 29.23.

While in bowling, Sambasiva Sarma has not taken any wicket and has given 12 runs from the three overs he has thrown the ball. His bowling economy is 4.00 in these matches. The latest "First-class" match played by Sambasiva Sarma was against Assam team, which was held at Silchar, Assam from November 23 to 26 in 2007.

In the "List A" matches, Sambasiva Sarma debuted against Karnataka team, which was held at Secunderabad on February 10 in 2007. He has played in four "List A" matches till today in his cricket career with an average of 19.75. He has scored total 79 runs in these matches, which includes nine fours. The maximum score of Sambasiva Sarma in any of the "List A" matches is 32 runs and his striking rate is 57.66. He did not get the chance to bowl in these matches. Sambasiva Sarma played his latest "List A" match against Tamil Nadu team, which was held at February 16 in 2007.
