Kavaljit Singh is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler of the Jammu & Kashmir Cricket team.

Kavaljit Singh started his "First-class" cricket career in 1990-91.Till then, he has played in altogether 70 "First-class" matches in his cricket career with an average of 36.29. He has scored total 4464 runs. The highest score made by Kavaljit Singh in any of the "First-class" matches is 206 runs. While in bowling, Kavaljit Singh has picked up total 12 wickets by losing 437 runs out of the 809 balls he played in the "First-class" matches. His bowling average is 36.41 and economy is 3.24 in these matches. The latest "First-class" match played by Kavaljit Singh was against Jharkhand at Ranchi, November 3-6, 2008.

In the "List A" matches, Kavaljit Singh had his debut in 1993-94. He has played in overall 55 "List A" matches with an average of 32.26 in his cricket career till today.
