Synopsis of the Indian movie `Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam`
Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Indian film The story of the Bollywood movie starts with Radha played by Madhuri Dixit and her brother Prashant played by Atul Agnihotri. Gopal played by Shahrukh Khan is in love with Radha ever since they were kids. While growing up they get aparted but after many years Gopal and his uncle come back to the town and Gopal readily recognised Radha. They talked to each other and decide to get married. Their uncle played by Alok Nath becomes very happy.

After marriage they try to start their family but Gopal finds Radha always preoccupied with her responsibilities and there are two things Gopal disapproves of. Radha`s unemployed younger brother Prashant who lives with them, and Suraj played by Salman Khan, who is Radha`s childhood friend. Suraj is quite handsome and a very famous singer and Radha who is very fond of him, talks to him quite often on the phone. The hardworking Gopal, who loves his wife dearly, wants complete attention from her. When he feels Radha gives undue attention to her friend Suraj, he grows gradually very suspicious and believes that Radha and Suraj are secretly seeing each other. With the growing period they start to develop some gaps between them and the reason behind it remains Surj and also sometimes Prashant. The tension reaches the extreme point when Radha is thrown out of her house and she starts living in her previous house with her brother.

Radha who equally loves her husband and never fully understood the turmoil he was going through, receives a note of divorce from him and is devastated. Prashant and Suraj try to talk to Gopal, but Radha forbids it. Finally, Suraj arranges a meeting with Gopal where Gopal arrives with a loaded gun. Suraj is taken aback upon finding that his platonic relationship with his best friend Radha has caused Gopal with such misconstruings. Eventually they start arguing and Gopal finally leaves. Suraj talks to Radha, she thinks it is entirely her fault. She thinks that if she had understood that Gopal disapproved of her close relationship to Suraj, she would have never seen Suraj again. Suraj leaves her and promises to never see her again. He talks to his blind girlfriend Suman played by Aishwarya Rai about what happened and Suman finally talks to Gopal. Suman makes Gopal understand about their friendship, how thay are attached from the childhood, etc. Gopal understands his fault. He thinks that if Suraj`s girlfriend has faith in him then why can`t he believe Radha. He runs to Radha and just arrives there at the moment she tries to commit suicide, Gopal therefore realises his misapprehensions and the purity of Radha`s heart, they make up and visit Suraj on the sets of his latest stage show. Gopal apologizes to him and also to Prashant who loves her sister like a mother. The film has a happy ending showing Gopal and Rdha together.
