
Yalaka Venugopal Rao is a right-handed batsman of
Andhra Pradesh Cricket team. He was born on February 26 in 1982 at
Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. He has also played for team India, India A, Indian Board President`s XI and
Rajasthan Cricket Association President`s XI Cricket team.
Y Venugopal Rao is a right-arm offbreak bowler. He got international recognition with a unbeaten 228 runs for South Zone to help the team to reach England A`s target of 501 runs. This was the fourth highest `First-class` run chase till then. Venugopal Rao has also been the member of Indian Cricket team that won the Under-19 World Cup in 2002.
