Andhra Pradesh Cricket team. He was born on February 26 in 1982 at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. He has also played for team India, India A, Indian Board President`s XI and
Rajasthan Cricket Association President`s XI Cricket team.
Y Venugopal Rao is a right-arm offbreak bowler. He got international recognition with a unbeaten 228 runs for South Zone to help the team to reach England A`s target of 501 runs just two days before his 22nd birthday. This was the fourth highest "First-class" run chase till then. Venugopal Rao has also been the member of Indian Cricket team that won the Under-19 World Cup in 2002.
