Sridharan Sharath is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler of Tamil Nadu Cricket team.

Sridharan Sharath, Tamil Nadu CricketerSridharan Sharath is a left-handed batsman of Tamil Nadu Cricket team. He was born on October 31, 1972 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is also a right-arm offbreak bowler of Tamil Nadu Cricket team. He has played for Assam team also in his later part of Cricket career. Sridharan Sharath is one of the most consistent cricketers at the domestic level. But still he could not reach to the international stage. He is the only Cricketer from Tamil Nadu to play hundred "Ranji Trophy" games. Sridharan Sharath got the chance to celebrate the moment with a century against Saurashtra in December 2006.

In the "First-class" Cricket, Sridharan Sharath had his debut in 1992-93. He has played in altogether 139 "First-class" matches with an average of 51.17. His total score in these matches is 8700 runs, which includes 27 centuries and 42 half-centuries. The highest score of Sridharan Sharath in any of the "First-class" matches is 224 runs. Whereas in bowling, Sridharan Sharath has picked up total two wickets by losing 83 runs out of the 150 balls he played in the "First-class" matches. His bowling average is 41.50 and economy is 3.32. His latest "First-class" match was against Tripura held at Guwahati from December 9 to 12 in 2007.

Sridharan Sharath`s "List A" match career started in 1993-94 and continued up to 2004-05. He has played in overall 116 "List A" matches with an average of 44.28. His total score in these matches is 3366 runs. The maximum score made by Sridharan Sharath in any of the "List A" matches is 113 runs. While with ball in hand, Sridharan Sharath has taken total 10 wickets by giving 282 runs out of the 364 balls he played in the "List A" matches. His bowling average is 28.20 and economy is 4.64 in these matches.
