Shamsher Singh is a right-handed batsman of the Rajasthan Cricket team. He was born on October 16, 1972 in Hisar District, Haryana. He is popularly known as `Bobby`. He is also a right-arm medium-fast bowler of the team.

Shamsher Singh started playing the "First-class" cricket since 1992-93 and played up to the year 2004-05. During this period, he has played in altogether 34 "First-class" matches with an average of 6.59. He made his total score of 178 runs in these matches. The highest score made by Shamsher Singh in any of the "First-class" matches is 18 runs.
