Karnataka Cricket team is one of the strongest teams in the "Ranji Trophy" Elite Group. This team has good record in the "Ranji Trophy" tournaments. Karnataka Cricket team has given some of the best players to the country. Few of them are Anil Kumble, Robin Uthappa, Rahul Dravid, Syed Kirmani and Javagal Srinath. Rahul Dravid has also captained the team earlier. Karnataka Cricket team has won the "Ranji Trophy" for six times and stood runner up 3 times. The home ground of the team is M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
