Gaurav Gupta is a right-handed batsman of the Punjab cricket team. He was born on November 6, 1984 in Barnala, Punjab. He is also a right-arm offbreak bowler of the Punjab cricket team.

Gaurav Gupta started playing in the "First-class" cricket since 2004/05. Till then, he has played in altogether 18 "First-class" matches in his cricket career with an average of 29.86. He has made his total score of 687 runs, which includes two centuries and a half-century. The highest score made by Gaurav Gupta in any of the "First-class" matches is 121 runs and his striking rate is 40.65. Daniel Manohar, Zaheer Khan and Alfred Absolem dismissed him mostly in these matches. Gaurav Gupta has not bowled in the "First-class" matches.
