Gagandeep is a right-handed batsman of the Punjab Cricket team, who has also played for the India Green cricket team.

Gagandeep Singh started his "First-class" cricket career in 1999/00. Till then, he has played in altogether 59 "First-class" matches with an average of 15.42. He has made his total score of 833 runs in these matches, which includes one half-century. The highest score made by Gagandeep Singh in any of the "First-class" matches is 50 runs. Debasis Mohanty, Eklakh Ahmed, Rajesh Pawar, Jai Prakash Yadav, Ashish Zaidi and Syed Javed mostly dismissed him in these matches.
