Gorrela Shankara Rao is a left-handed batsman and a left-arm orthodox bowler of Andhra Pradesh Cricket team.

Gorrela Shankara Rao is a left-handed batsman of Andhra Pradesh Cricket team. He was born on April 10 in 1984 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Apart from Andhra Pradesh Cricket team he has also played for Andhra Pradesh Under-16 and Andhra Pradesh Under-19 Cricket team. He has also played for the Railways Cricket team.

This slow left-arm orthodox bowler started his "First-class" Cricket career in 2002-03. Gorrela Shankara Rao has played in overall 31 "First-class" matches with an average of 22.33. He has made a total score of 871 runs in these matches. The highest score of G Shankara Rao in any of the "First-class" matches is 91 runs.
