Affiliated to Bharathisan University, this college is situated in a tranquil campus, spread out on an area of 26 acres.
 
 Arungarai Amman College of Arts and Science, Karur, Tamil NaduArungarai Amman College of Arts and Science began functioning under the Arungarai Amman Educational Trust with the objective of ameliorating the condition of hapless people of the society. The college imparts liberal education and inculcates the feelings of patriotic spirit, sense of independence and responsibility, restraint and national harmony.

Affiliated to Bharathisan University, Tiruchirappalli, Arungarai Amman College of Arts and Science is located in a serene campus spread out on an area of nearly twenty-six acres. Arungarai Amman College of Arts and Science has an excellent infrastructure with roomy classrooms, neatly decorated with fine furnitures. The college library is spacious, with a reading zone, reference room, stack rooms etc. It has a huge collection of 20934 books, two hundred and nineteen journals, twenty University News books, 160 maps and charts, 10 Newspapers, twenty-five weekly books and 22 CD ROMs. Other facilities of the college library are- computerised and conventional catalogues, photocopying services, a microfilm reader and bibliographical services. Apart from the library, students also can utilise the departmental libraries.

The well-equipped computer laboratory of Arungarai Amman College of Arts and Science is fully air-conditioned and has all the modern facilities available, including internet browsing. It can provide accommodation to nearly fifty students at a time. The team of faculty members also is competent and experienced.

Separate hostel facility is provided to both male and female students. About two hundred students can be accommodated at a time. Water supply in the college and hostel is superfluous. Vegetarian meals are provided to the students. The hostellers are quite friendly, which creates a feeling of home for the students.

Undergraduate courses that are offered include-- Bachelor in Computer Application (B.C.A), B.Sc in Information Technology, B.Sc. in Computer Science, B.Sc in Mathematics, Bachelor in Business Administration (B. B. A), B.Com, B.Lit. Postgraduate Courses are M.Sc. C. S., M.Com, and M.Sc Maths.
