A right-handed batsman of the Gujarat cricket team, who is also a right-arm medium-fast bowler of the Gujarat Team.

Amit Singh, Gujarat CricketerAmit Singh is a right-handed batsman of the Gujarat cricket team. He was born on June 21, 1981 in Bidar, Karnataka. He is also a right-arm medium-fast bowler of the team.

Amit Singh started playing in the "First-class" matches in 2004/05. Till then, he has played in altogether nine "First-class" matches with an average of 10.30. He has made his total score of 103 runs, which includes 14 fours and one six. The maximum score made by Amit Singh in any of the "First-class" matches is 27 runs and his striking rate is 38.14. Sanjay Pandey, Nilesh Kulkarni, Sanjay Bangar and Sony Cheruvathur dismissed him mostly in these matches.

While in bowling, Amit Singh has picked up total 28 wickets by losing 726 runs out of the 1637 balls he played in the "First-class" matches. His bowling average is 25.92 and economy is 2.66 in these matches. The latest "First-class" match played by Amit Singh was against Railways cricket team, which was held at Mumbai from January 5 to 9 in 2008. Amit Singh dismissed Pritam Gandhe, Ibrahim Khaleel, Mahesh Rawat, Jatin Saxena and Himanshu Joshi mostly in these matches.

Amit Singh has played in only one "List A" match in his cricket career. This match was played against Railways cricket team, which was held at Kanpur on March 14 in 2006. But he could not open his scorecard in these matches neither in bowling nor in batting.
